Your Child’s Safety Is a Priority

Every child's safety is a priority for us, it is for this reason we have a detailed check-in process, and require all of our volunteers to undergo a background check.

Here's what to expect when visiting

Impact City

Kids for the first time:

We suggest arriving at least 10 minutes early for your first visit to allow sufficient time for your child's registration. Upon your arrival, we will request the following information:

  • Parent or guardian’s name(s)

  • Child's name

  • Child's birth date

  • Parent or guardian’s phone number

  • Any special instructions (such as allergies or medical conditions)

Rest assured, this information will be kept confidential and will solely be used to ensure your child's safety while in our care, as well as to prevent any unauthorized individuals from checking your child out.

  • Before Service

    After your initial visit, you’ll have access to the iPads at our self check-in stations, conveniently located in the lobby of our Kids Building. Once you’ve checked in, the tag printer will generate two tags: your child should wear the name tag portion, while you keep the corresponding code tag for pickup. After that, you’ll escort your child to their designated class, where they will stay until the concludes.

    *Please note: You can check in your child for class as early as 9:40 am on Sundays.

  • During Service

    If we need to reach you during the service, your child's code will be displayed on the top screen in the auditorium. Please proceed to the Kids Building, present your check-in tag to security at the entrance, and head to the check-in counter. Once you arrive, one of our check-in volunteers will be ready to assist you further.

  • After Service

    After the service has ended, we kindly ask you to return to your child's room for pick-up. To make sure all children are safe, we request that parents show their check-in tags when collecting their child. This process helps us verify that each child goes home with the correct parent or guardian. For further safety, we kindly ask that parents refrain from sending an older sibling to pick up their child.

Impact City Kids Rooms

  • Wiggle & Giggle Room

    The Wiggle & Giggle Room is a kid-friendly space where parents can take active or loud children to play while watching the service on a TV. There is also space for nursing mothers.

  • Nursery

    For ages 6 weeks to 12 months, we have an experienced nursery team and a dedicated room available for you to drop your little one off.

  • Tiny Tots

    For 2 and 3 year olds we have a class where they will enjoy toys, games, snacks and more.

  • Big Tots

    For Pre-K - Kindergarten , class time includes worship, games, crafts, snacks and Bible lessons.

  • 1st - 2nd Grade

    For grades 1st - 2nd, we have a fun class with worship, Bible teaching, and a lot more.

  • 3rd - 5th Grade

    For grades 3rd - 5th, we have an amazing class with Bible teaching, games, and
    an awesome store that encourages kids to participate.

FAQs

  • We prefer that all children attend the class that is appropriate to their age/grade level. (Our age groups are listed in the section above.)

  • Due to the security and safety of all of our kids ministry, we only allow adults in our classrooms that have been properly trained and background checked.

  • Yes. We do background checks on all adult staff members and volunteers that work in our kids ministry.

  • Yes. If you prefer your child to have certain snacks, please provide a small bag. It is also helpful to provide written instructions in that bag to help our kids team.

  • Great question! Every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM during the school year, we host a Student Service for grades 6 through 12 (approximately ages 12 to 18). On Sundays, we invite you to have your 6th grader sit with you during our main worship experience.

  • The best way to join the Kids Team is to complete our Membership Course and then fill out the Kid's Ministry Interest Form on the Church Center App.

  • Currently, we are not equipped or staffed to offer special needs services. However, it is a ministry area that we aspire to develop and provide in the future.
